Our family journey
Our family's restaurant journey began in San Jose, California, in 2001. In 2008, the Torres family moved north to Portland and opened Taqueria Portland in St. Johns that same year. In 2013, we brought the restaurant to Southeast Portland, where we continued serving longtime customers and welcoming new neighbors. Today, our two locations proudly continue a family restaurant tradition built around flavorful Mexican food, generous portions, and genuine hospitality.
