Our story

Our journey began in San Jose, California, where the Torres family opened their first restaurant, Taqueria Azteca. After two years, we relocated and rebranded to Taqueria Coral. In 2008, following the recession, we set our sights on the North, seeking a fresh start with a renewed commitment to service and quality. We found a new home in North Portland and opened Taqueria Portland. After five years of growth, supported by our dedicated employees and family, we moved our restaurant to Downtown Portland, eager to share our food with new faces and build lasting memories within the community.
